If I can stop one heart from breaking,

I shall not live in vain;

If I can ease one life the aching,

Or cool one pain,

Or help one fainting robin,

Unto his nest again,

I shall not live in vain.


如果我能阻止一顆心破碎


如果我能阻止一顆心破碎， 
我必不白活; 
如果我能減輕一個生命的疼痛， 
或撫慰一個人的痛苦， 
或是幫助一隻昏厥的知更鳥 ，
重新回到巢中，
