Ah.. it was time when the Japanese was dreaming of China. China where Japan derived its culture, language, social structure, philosophy, religions, bamboo, martial arts etc etc from. Did i hear a TQ?

So it wrote a song praising the beauty of the China night and Chinese girls. Maybe, one day they want to return? Apparently, it was also very popular during the Korean War with the GIs under different title and words. Love this song. This version is by Watanabe Hamako, I believe.
